Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre use Williams Sound for the Hearing Impaired
Williams Sound provided the perfect solution.
Product use , Hills SVL
Recently, the Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre installed a Williams Sound System 1 to accommodate to the hearing impaired
Due to the configuration of the Centres design to meet the varying needs of the community, the main hall is multipurpose. Meaning, it can be partitioned to hold a number of meetings simultaneously, or opened up for a large conference. For this reason, a hearing loop could not be installed.
Williams Sound provided the perfect solution. By using a personal loop called the Neckloop, those wearing hearing aids can pick up the transmission with ease, and can even adjust the volume to their personal preference.
The system is being used regularly, especially by church groups who hold Sunday services at the venue. According to Sarah, the venue operations manager, handing out Neckloops is now a pleasant routine as the users always find them useful.
